Runnymede Healthcare Centre is a dynamic and evolving 206-bed rehabilitation and complex continuing care hospital passionately dedicated to serving the community in Toronto’s west end.

Our interprofessional team delivers comprehensive clinical services to help patients regain their functional abilities and confidently reintegrate into their communities. We care for individuals requiring specialized treatment and daily support that exceeds the capabilities of home or long-term care settings.

The construction of the Runnymede Long-Term Care, a separate facility adjacent to the hospital, is nearing completion and preparing for occupancy in 2025.

Runnymede is also launching Canada’s first-ever dedicated rehabilitation centre to treat First Responders and frontline healthcare workers experiencing post-traumatic stress injuries (PTSI). The PTSI Centre of Excellence in Toronto (Station No. 3434) and in Peel (Caledon Recovery Centre) will provide urgently needed access to a full continuum of care ranging from prevention, intensive treatment, and return-to-work support.
