Runnymede’s High Tolerance Short Duration Rehabilitation (HTSD Rehab) program is designed for those who can benefit from intensive, short-term therapy. It helps patients regain function and mobility that may have been lost because of illness, injury or surgery. HTSD Rehab provides a range of therapies, seven days a week, from the hospital’s interprofessional team.

The goal of the program is to restore physical health and well-being until patients no longer require the level of care we provide. We then support patients to transition home or the next care destination in their healthcare journey so they can continue their recovery with the appropriate supports in the community.
