Our patients are people who need specialized treatment and daily care that cannot be given at home or in long-term facilities. Our interprofessional team works together to provide the outstanding care that makes it possible for patients to regain mobility and independence to return home to the community, if possible.

As part of Runnymede Healthcare Centre’s commitment to delivering the best patient and family-centred care, our Patient Declaration of Values was developed with consultation and feedback from our patients, former patients, family members, caregivers, and our community. This public consultation was also in accordance with Ontario’s Excellent Care for All Act in order to ensure patients’ needs and values are well considered throughout their care journey. Our Patient Declaration of Values reflects what our patients and community expect from our hospital team when receiving care.
